How well do they relate with cottage mates (respects boundaries, age-appropriate, etc)? Do they respect others’ personal space and belongings? Are they a positive or negative influence on peers and those around them? Can they read the room and keep things appropriate?

Do they accept corrections without argument? Do they complete consequences when administered and without resistance? Are they respectful to all authority, not just their authority? Do they bad mouth parents, teachers, etc? Do they show a general respect for authority in how they speak and understand their place in the structure of life?

Do they maintain personal hygiene without major prompting? Are they willing to participate in physical activity, or do they want to sit and do nothing? Does the child try to eat a well-balanced diet? Do they want to eat at appropriate times?

The child works well overall during times of work (school, chores, etc). They take noticeable pride in their work, even without rewards or accolades. The child shows care and concern for doing a good job and attention to details. They seek out extra tasks. They make an effort to set and achieve goals.

They maintain their personal workspace. They follow classroom rules, policies, and procedures.
